About Dr. Bailey
Kenneth A. Bailey, MD, is a board-certified general and plastic surgeon. He provides exceptional care for the community of Bakersfield, California, at Diabetic Foot and Wound Center.
Dr. Bailey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, and earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California.
He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey (now called Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences), where he served as chief resident and administrative chief resident.
Dr. Bailey finished his training with a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. He then spent four years serving as a surgeon in the United States Army Reserve at the 328th Combat Support Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
With dual board certifications from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Bailey is highly renowned for his expertise. He’s also a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Bailey enjoys skiing, biking, and fishing.
